A notable update has emerged on San Antonio Spurs star center Victor Wembanyama's status after his concussion.
Asked how Wembanyama looked during the walkthrough in advance of Friday night's 9:30 p.m. game, Dylan Harper said, "Really good. I think that he's progressing every day and he's progressing well. All we can really do is pray for him and just hope the trajectory he's in just keeps happening."
Wembanyama is "progressing," Johnson said, but his status against the Trail Blazers remains uncertain. "He looks good," Johnson said, noting that the Spurs hadn't even started discussions on when Wembanyama can play again.
After Spurs star Victor Wembanyama’s hard fall, we reached out to Dr. Ali Seifi, medical director of the Neuro-ICU at University Health, to get more insight on sports-related concussions.
