Porthtowan has already clocked 218 hours of sewage discharges this year, and a surf competition was shut down because the water was too polluted. 🧪 The current system tests a handful of pollutants, a few months a year, once a week. No real-time water quality data. No winter testing. No protection for when people actually use the water. We need real-time testing and fit-for-purpose bathing water rules that put our health and the environment first.
